Inside How I Cook (aka Edit)

The thing is, every wedding is different, and that’s exactly how it’s meant to be. I’ve been fortunate to see plenty of ceremonies ranging from light-hearted and funny to emotional and heavy in a beautiful way. A big part of my day isn't just filming; it's watching to learn your vibe and your community. This helps me create a cinematic wedding film that feels honest, natural, and completely yours.

While photos show you how the day looked, I believe film lets you feel how it was. My goal is to produce work that makes people smile and hits them right in the feels by balancing "cinematic goodness" with raw, unfiltered fun.
The editing but, as l like to think of it "cooking", usually starts with the wedding ceremony. This footage is typically packed with awesome audio that helps set the emotional tone for the entire film. From there, I move onto curating all the raw footage from the day. This is literally everything - the quiet preparation shots, establishing venue shots and the couple shots, just to name a few.

During this part of the process, I’m looking out for those completely candid moments - the "quiet in-between ones" or a bridesmaid crying during the speeches, just as much as the epic staged shots. This curation phase is vital because it shows me what I have to work with to build a masterpiece. Finally, I edit the speeches, which, like the ceremony, provide the narrative backbone to help tell your story.
Once the visual story takes shape, the music becomes the heartbeat of the edit. Music sets the tone for everything; if you’ve ever tried watching The Batman with upbeat kids' music, you know exactly how much the wrong score can change the vibe. While some couples provide a preference, most leave it to me to find that "freakishly good" track that fits the energy of their vows.
I pour a huge amount of time and care into every film, ensuring you receive a lifelong keepsake that lets you relive those memories again and again. I have everything polished and sent your way via a private download link within one to four weeks of the big day.
